Of This Body.
Embodied Yoga, Retreats & Practice.
Of This Body is the work of Claire Wilson — yoga teacher and retreat host creating immersive spaces for practice, rest, movement and connection.
Rooted in embodied yoga, somatic practice, meditation and non-dual Tantra, the practices shared can be strong, spacious, playful, quiet, philosophical and deeply felt.
Retreats give the teachings room to unfold beyond the yoga itself — through long meals, time outside, conversation, laughter, solitude and the particular kind of connection that can happen when people step out of ordinary life for a few days.
Of This Body grew from a desire for a way of practising that could hold more of what it means to be human and our yoga practice gives us a way to stay close to that - to sensation, breath, feeling, change, effort, rest and everything else that moves through us.
It is an invitation to pay attention to what feels alive, stuck, tender, strong, uncertain or changing. The intention is not to escape what is difficult, force positivity or try to transcend the messy reality of being alive but to come back into relationship with it - and from there, with ourselves, each other and the world around us.
What you can expect
Thoughtful, embodied practice
Vinyasa, somatic movement, meditation and philosophy woven together with space to listen and respond to your own body.
Time to actually be there
Sleep, swim, read, explore, get a massage or do absolutely nothing. The empty space is part of the retreat.
Beautiful places
Where we stay matters. Places chosen for how they feel to wake up, eat, rest and spend
several days in.
Shared experience, with room to yourself
Long meals, conversations and time together, with no expectation that everyone needs to do everything as a group.
A considered rhythm
Enough structure to hold the experience, with enough breathing room that the retreat never feels like another packed schedule.
More than what happens on the mat
The yoga matters and so does the food, place, swims, walks, laughter, conversations and everything in-between.

The Body of Practice
11–17 April 2027
Six nights on the edge of Koggala Lake with Claire Wilson and Roberto Rubalcava.
A week shaped by morning practice, slower evenings, beautiful food, swimming, time by the lake, a surf lesson, a boat trip, space to explore the south coast and plenty of time when nothing is required of you.
Two teachers. Two distinct approaches to practice.
One shared week of movement, rest, curiosity and connection.
“Yoga is the commitment to become established in freedom. Not just personal freedom but a collective one.”
— B.K.S. Iyengar.
